Girls Dreams

Just hours after Prince's back catalogue returned to streaming services on Sunday, Warner Brothers announced that they will be releasing a remastered version of the 1984 classic Purple Rain along with a package of previously unreleased tracks and two unseen concert films from the Paisley Park vault. The release date is set for June 9.

"When we make any of Prince's music available to fans – from the hits to unreleased gems – we are committed to upholding Prince's high creative standards and we know fans will be thrilled when they hear these albums and see these films," Cameron Strang, Warner Bros Records CEO, said in a statement."

So, now would be a great time to go listen to Dirty Mind and Controversy on your streaming service of choice. The Grammys  together a tribute to Prince for Sunday night's ceremony and Strang seemed to be enthused about the whole thing. "Prince recorded his most influential and popular music during his time with Warner Bros. and we are deeply aware of our responsibility to safeguard and nurture his incredible legacy," he said. "Warner Bros. is thrilled to be able to bring Prince's music to his millions of fans around the world via streaming services, fittingly on music's biggest night."

Great. Here's Purple Rain.
