Girls Dreams

Petite League embodies what it means to be a DIY artist. For one, he hit us up on Soundcloud to see if we'd be interested in premiering his latest track after he'd spotted one of our writer's had "liked" one of his tracks. More than that though, since clambering out of the same basement shows that brought the world Perfect Pussy, he's been pulling in favours, friends, and shitty little guitars to get his music out into the world - and the result has been fruitful. One of his more recent singles was released through Mermaid Avenue Records, a small label under Mom + Pop who are the guys that signed FIDLAR.

Anyway - what we're premiering today is Petite League's most recent track, a jangly, charming number called "Little Fourth of July" that conjures up memories of spending Summer's hanging out listening to Harlem, Wild Nothing, and early Real Estate and creating sun-flecked memories. Listen below.
