Not content with blowing our fragile little minds to smithereens with his second record / emotional magnum opus American Boyfriend: A Suburban Love Story, Kevin Abstract has now gifted the world with the demo version of the album's lush title track.

Shared on a Soundcloud page called 'DaysBeforeAmericanBF", the demo doesn't differ too much from the final cut of the song, but it has a fuzzy lo-fi charm that kind of befits the song's atmospheric, soundtrack-to-a-pivotal-moment-in-a-teen-movie quality. "American Boyfriend OG" was one of six previously unheard tracks uploaded to the page on Christmas Eve, so if you've exhausted the album, salvation is here in the form of new music to pretend you're in The OC to.
