Beyoncé grabbed nine Grammy nominations earlier this week in rock, rap, R&B, and pop categories. But Bey was unable to land a nod in the country category, even though, according to an Associated Press report, an anonymous source close to the Recording Academy claims the singer also submitted her Lemonade-featured song "Daddy Lessons" to be considered for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance. But no luck here for Beyoncé; the source says the Grammy country music committee rejected the song.
In November, Beyonce performed "Daddy Lessons" on the Country Music Awards alongside the Dixie Chicks. The collaboration was then released as a song.
