HBO will air a four-part documentary on the Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine's partnership called The Defiant Ones next year. Billboard reports that the documentary will also follow Dre and Jimmy's solo careers, as well as their personal relationship. The movie will reveal never-before-seen footage from recording and writing sessions with Eazy-E, JJ Fad, Stevie Nicks, N.W.A, Petty, Springsteen, U2 and more. There will also be interviews with Bono, Nas, Ice Cube, Gwen Stefani and Snoop Dogg. The Defiant Ones will be directed by Allen Hughes.

Together, Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine partnered on Aftermath Records, discovering Eminem, and collaborating on the Beats Electronics headphones brand. Apple purchased Beats in 2014 for $3 billion.
