To the lamentation of all the publications who have already published their songs of the year lists (including Noisey), UK dons Donae'O, JME and Dizzee Rascal have collaborated on Donae'O's new single "Black", and it's an objective banger which feels like almost like a spiritual sequel to "Man Don't Care".
"Black" is a quietly swaggering track with an earworm of a hook that will stick in your head as soon as you hear it, and it sees all three MCs spitting with the sort of ease and precision that it takes years to hone. The video captures all three in their finest black garms (plus a whole roster of famous faces who we won't list out – why spoil the damn fun?) because what else would you expect?
