This morning around 9:15 AM, Kanye West entered Trump Tower in Manhattan to meet with President Elect Donald Trump. According to TMZ, the rapper had requested the meeting, which lasted about 15 minutes.
Around 10 AM, Kanye and Trump came down the elevator together and posed for pictures in the lobby. They refused to answer questions about what they'd discussed—a cabinet position? A performance at the inauguration? "Just friends," Trump said. "He's a good man… we've been friends for a long time. Life. We discussed life."
"I just want to take a picture right now," Kanye said to questioners.
They parted with a handshake, Trump saying "You take care, I'll see you soon" into Kanye's ear.
