A$AP Mob has always tried to build on the parallels between the punk and rap worlds especially by making it a point to crowd surf, rock all black, and occasionally paint their nails black when they first reached the national radar in 2011. Today we're premiering a brand new song and video from the mob's A$AP Ferg in which he revisits those punk parallels. "Uzi Gang" is a bouncy, hard-hitter from Ferg's Always Strive and Prosper album that features Lil Uzi Vert and Marty Baller.
The black and white Adam Degross-directed clip follows the three through what looks to be a warehouse space venue as they convene with a crowd of punks, surfing through crowds and banging their heads. When asked about the video's inspiration, Ferg answered through email: "I wanted to shoot a visual that would capture the feeling of the song. So I linked with photographer and good friend of mine Adam Degross to help me bring this picture perfect visual alive!" Watch "Uzi Gang" below.
