<p>Bruno Mars was the musical guest on last night's <i>Saturday Night Live</i>, a safe bet for a slick performance if ever there was one. He played out the title track from his forthcoming <i>24K Magic</i> album and debuted a new track, "Chunky," again borrowing convincingly from top notch 90s R&B. Mars is a performer, an entertainer, a good dancer, a more-than-competent singer, and a dude who can write a catchy-ass song. Was Bruno Mars ever going to put together an <i>SNL</i> performance for the ages? Nope. Can you count on Bruno Mars to keep people engaged between sketches.
