Girls Dreams

Hudson Scott seemingly rose from London's underbelly with his fully-formed, groove-laden debut single "Clay" earlier this month. In fact, though - prior to setting up shop in London, working a day job and writing music at night - Hudson was raised in Oxford, where he honed his skills performing with groups like Foals and jammed his way through late-night math-rock sessions. Through it all, he's essentially built up the foundation for what is now a bed-rock of musical talent in the form of a one-man, almost Tame Impala-esque, tour de force.

While debut single "Clay" dropped a week or two ago, it's already been followed up with a video - which, in a moment of pure pun-a-rific beauty, is some sort of clay-mation. "The concept for the video was to create something repetitive and hypnotic but at the same time human and dare I say groovy", says Hudson. "The song has a bit of swagger... it's a wink and a grin". Watch below.

Catch Hudson at his debut headline show at The Nines, Peckham, on 24th March.
