In an ongoing series of sculptures, artist Darryl Cox melds fallen branches and old picture frames into what he calls, Fusion Frames. These unique, one-of-a-kind pieces involve several disciplines like woodworking, painting and sculpting.
Cox first seeks out unique frames and then scours the forests of central Oregon, looking for the perfect branch to blend with each frame. Each piece is handmade by Cox alone which limits his output to roughly 20-30 artworks a year.
He currently sells his pieces through his website and Etsy store. You can also keep up with his latest developments through Facebook.
