By now you should know that nu-metal is far mre than just a genre of music. It's a way of life! The past few years, more artists are coming around to this universal truth, some bringing it back harder than others. But one of the most interesting ways it's had a reintroduction to modern music is through other artists distorting and massively changing up what we would normally hear in nu-metal. Take for example this new remix of Korn's "Freak On a Leash" by Celestial Trax. The electronic artist takes heavy industrial sounding drum hits, interspersing them with distorted takes of Jonathan Davis's voice. It creates a pounding, in your face take on the band's opus.
