JLYY is a 3 piece from London who came through with a great EP called Island last year, which was recorded in one take and described as everything from "percussive shoegaze hip-hop soul tribe" to an "uncompromising wall of sound". Now we're premiering the first video for from their latest offering, an EP called FLY 100 UP //, which picks up where Island left off.
The last time we premiered a video of JLYY's we described their vibe as "sitting somewhere between Wu Lyf and a toned down version of heavier bands like Nothing", which still stands. Wall to wall with euphoric soundscapes and often primal vocal takes, "CARVE", premiering below, sounds especially like My Bloody Valentine if you could actually hear the lyrics.
