HONNE are one of those bands that are popularly defined as a "one to watch". They've been called all sorts of things so far - "smooth, velvety... intoxicating", a "potent, provacative new voice", and "impressive". Often these things are twice baked in hyperbole, but listening to HONNE, there's that feeling that, yeah, maybe velvety is the right word.
Give a listen to their latest single "3am", which we're premiering below. There are lyrics in there like, "getting frisky girl, until three o' clock" in the morning, giving the track an element of both cheese and chase, as though it's recalling all those heady moments spent flirting with someone at an office party as Now That's What I Call Music 45 plays along in the background. Aren't those moments what make life the great big bundle of fun that it can often be?
