Girls Dreams

Since its inception in 2002, Eskimo Dance has been widely recognised as grime’s promised land. Shining a spotlight on the finest MCs that the genre has to offer, Wiley’s own club night focuses on maximising reloads while minimising the rigidity of set times that can make all too many events stagnant. Eskimo Dance is notorious for getting hype as fuck and this edition was no different, bringing a literal who’s who of the genre’s past, present and future to the table. P Money cemented his status as the most criminally underrated MC on the scene, Flowdan came out of absolutely nowhere and lit up the stage for the best reload of the night, and BBK set about a victory lap after a summer’s hard graft casually taking over the world - and that was just in room one.

Noisey hosted room two of the event, celebrating the grime instrumental alongside Hatcha, Royal T, Sian Anderson, Madam X and our very own Noisey DJs just in case things got a bit too vocal in the main room. Each set was fire and we like to think that you thought so too. In case you had a decent excuse not to go (there is no excuse) or just want to wheel up the whole thing one more time, here’s a gallery of photos from the night. Trigger fingers at the ready.
