A mural company’s warehouse seemed like the obvious place for Hop Along’s Frances Quinlan to play a song off of the band’s album ‘Painted Shut.’ In addition to doing some house-painting on the side, Quinlan also painted the album’s cover. So we sneaked her into the back room of Colossal Media in Brooklyn where she belted out a stripped-down solo version of “Buddy in the Parade.” Here she is jamming among the brushes and cans.
