Reddit user pmoney923 gets the perfect photo op when he realizes he’s on the section of the Appalachian Trail that matches the cover of his guide book.
The Appalachian Trail, commonly known as the ‘A.T.‘, extends between Springer Mountain in Georgia and Mount Katahdin in Maine. The full trail is approximately 2,200 miles (3,500 km) long.
Pmoney923 says him and his friends did the section from Hanover to Mt. Washington, a 130-mile trek over a period of 12 days. Below you can see a photo of the trail without the guide in the foreground :)
