Photographer Nicolaus Wegner recently captured an incredible stationary supercell over the Black Hills of South Dakota near Rapid City on June 1, 2015. The jaw-dropping timelapse was taken from one second-intervals shot with his Canon 5dmII using a wide angle lens. In the video description Wegner explains:
“I was fortunate enough to have the entire event unfold right in front of me over the course of several hours. Truly one of the most beautiful natural weather phenomenon I have ever witnessed.”
