Glastonbury Festival is a magical place that exists outside the laws of conventional society. If you've never been, let us paint a picture for you: everyone is sloppy day-drunk on Somerset Cider, large swathes of people will automatically congregate around enormous fires, someone playing a piano, and other things you would normally avoid in your day-to-day life, while others are sprawled out on the floor wearing expressions that suggest they're discovering grass for the very first time. And no matter where you are, what you're doing, or what time it is, the sound of drum circles will be inescapable and you will LOVE IT.
Here is some visual documentation of everything we saw on Wednesday night, as the world's biggest music festival begins to get into the swing of things.
