Field Day used to be known for being a nightmare, long queues and shit toilets and the rest of it. But in the last few years, it's become the most relaxing festival on the calendar, a place you can nod your head to some early afternoon DJ sets, sprawl out on the floor and listen to pleasant bathtime music from the likes of FKA Twigs and Caribou and then head off into the night at an array of hedonistic afterparties with line-ups normally reserved for Room 1 at Fabric. All within easy walking distance of somewhere to piss. This year Carys Lavin was on hand to snap the spectacular and the sloshed, as well as sets from Jack Garratt, Ratking, La Priest and Philip Selway - here's what she saw.
